A manufacturing client needed a unified view of revenue trends, costs, and overtime across their US and Canadian operations. Fragmented reports and manual consolidation were replaced with a single interactive Power BI dashboard.
A manufacturing client engaged us to build a Power BI dashboard giving their leadership team a unified view of business performance across their US and Canadian operations. Prior to the engagement, revenue trends, cost data, and overtime figures were scattered across separate reports and systems — making it difficult for management to compare performance across borders or identify where margins were being eroded.
Managing a manufacturing business across two countries means dealing with different currencies, different cost structures, and separate operational reporting that rarely lines up cleanly. Leadership had data — but it lived in silos, required manual consolidation, and by the time it was assembled, it was already out of date.
The specific gaps we were asked to address:
US and Canadian revenue performance existed in separate reports with no consistent comparative framework — making trend identification across both markets manual and inconsistent.
Cost data by business unit and geography was not consolidated, leaving management unable to quickly identify where spend was running ahead of plan.
Workforce overtime patterns across both operations were tracked locally but not aggregated — making it impossible to see the full cost picture or act on emerging trends before they compounded.
We designed and delivered an interactive Power BI dashboard consolidating the organization’s US and Canadian business data into a single, executive-ready reporting environment.
Side-by-side visibility into US and Canadian revenue performance over time — enabling direct comparison and trend identification across both markets in a single view.
A clear view of costs by business unit and geography, surfacing where spend was running ahead of plan and where margins were under pressure.
Workforce overtime patterns tracked and aggregated across both operations — giving management the data to identify cost overruns before they compound.
Built for leadership consumption — clean, interactive, and filterable without requiring technical expertise to navigate.
Leadership gained a single, real-time source of truth for cross-border performance — replacing fragmented reports with an interactive dashboard that could be filtered, drilled into, and acted on. Revenue trends, cost movements, and overtime patterns that had previously required manual consolidation were now visible at a glance, enabling faster and more confident decision-making across both the US and Canadian sides of the business.
